There has been a scandle in Cameroonian football. The country's football federation have had to exclue 70% of the U17 side (21 out of 30), after it was revealed that they were too old.
The 21 players did not pass the age tests which FIFA demand, the Federation themselves announced, and they are looking for 21 other players who are the right age.
"The Cameroonian FA (FECAFOOT) have confirmed that 21 out of thirty players selected for the UNIFFAC U17 qualifiers have failed an MRI test. This simply means that the MRI has identified them as been more than 17 years."
The tests consist of measuring the players' wrist bones, which has a 99% accuracy rate. That is how they were able to test the players' ages.
