"200 million for Cristiano Ronaldo? It's absurd, out of this world"

Cristiano Ronaldo played in what could have been his last World Cup. Morocco knocked out Portugal and the striker could not stop the tears as the dream ended for his national team in the quarter-finals.
The Portuguese striker will now have to focus on his future. He is looking for a team, as Manchester United terminated his contract after he accused them of betrayal in an interview with Piers Morgan.
Al-Nassr offered 200 million euros for two seasons and it is one of the best offers ever heard. However, Ronaldo denied having received such an offer.
RB Leipzig sporting director Max Eberl put his hands to his head when he heard such a figure: "When I hear people talking about 200 million for Ronaldo for two seasons, I think it's absurd. It's out of this world. It drives people away from football," he said to 'AS'.
"Football has entered an extreme dimension. Both in terms of perception and money. We have to keep our feet on the ground," he added.
"The game comes first, not the business. Of course you need money to buy players, but you can't go beyond certain limits," the sporting director concluded.
