100 years of success at Mestalla

After the players made their way onto the field to present the trophies won over the years, the presentation closed with a display of a replica of the club's foundational flag.

Mario Kempes, the Argentine who was the club's first idol, carried the flag out surrounded by other former teammates and headed up by current captain Dani Parejo.

The oldest trophies were presented by by relatives of deceased players such as Edmundo Suárez 'Mundo', Bernardino Pérez Elizarán 'Pasieguito' or Amadeo Ibáñez, as well as descendants of the club's founders.

Daniel Maño was also present, perhaps one of the most well-known players to have played for the club, and lifted trophies that had been won during the 50s and 60s.

The following generation was represented by Roberto Gil, Escudero, Guillot, Pepe Martínez, Urtiaga, Paquito, Cabello, Vidagany, Luis Vilar and Poli, accompanied by the trophies from Inter-Cities Fairs Cup (1962 and 1963) and the Copa del Rey from 1967.

The trophy from the 1971 La Liga and the 1979 Copa del Rey made their way onto the field accompanied by Jara, Antón, Enrique Claramunt, Sergio, Forment, Valdez, Gabriel Uriarte, Lico, Adorno, Meléndez, "Gitano" González, Kurt Jara, Víctor, Esteban, Eloy and Juan Carlos.
