Danny Welbeck has sustained a groin injury and will be out for an unknown amount of time, Arsene Wenger has confirmed.
The England international started in Arsenal's goalless draw away to Chelsea, but was forced off the pitch 17 minutes before time with an injury.
Arsene Wenger has confirmed that the striker faces a spell on the sidelines, but was not able to give a definitive date on his return.
"He has a groin problem," Wenger said. "I don't know how severe it is but it looks like a 'good' groin problem, not an easy one."
It's yet another injury setback for Welbeck, who made only 20 starts for the Gunners last season due to persistent problems.
