Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has decided to give Ampadu the nod for the Blues as they face Everton, as he hopes to take advantage of a side likely to be shaken up following the dismissal of Ronald Koeman.
The Italian coach has given the Wales U19 international to show his worth against Premier League opponents.
Although he is just 17 years old, Ampadu is expected to have a very promising future at Stamford Bridge and they are looking forward to see how their young prospect will cope with first-team action.
Born on 14th September 2000, the Welsh midfielder is the first player to start a game for Chelsea who was born during this millennium, although he did make an appearance from the bench in the previous round of the cup against Nottingham Forest.
