In an interview with 'Sportsmail', Maximuscle athlete Bradley Simmonds, who acts as John Terry's personal trainer, said that the Aston Villa man is "an athlete" and that it could be another five years until he retires.
When asked about his typical training sessions, Simmons said: "in the off-season it will be more on me, pushing John. When he retires - which could be another five year, he's that fit he doesn't seem to want to retire - that will be down to me helping him build muscle."
"But in the meantime John will ring me up and say: 'look mate, I need to work on my fitness let's do some boxing, can we do some core' The I write a plan down and we smash it."
Boxing is a big part of Terry's fitness regime, with Simmonds explaining: "John is a good boxer to be fair. He's got good technique. He's no Anthony Joshua but he is definitely good on the pads!"
