David Moyes originally brought Fellaini to England back in 2008 when the midfielder joined Everton from Standard Liege and later signed the Belgian for Manchester United in 2013.
Now, the Manchester Evening News is reporting that the Scot is looking to work with Fellaini for a third time with new club Sunderland.
Moyes paid over £27 million for Fellaini when he joined United but it is understood that he could be available for £13 million in the current transfer window.
Fellaini has been at Manchester United for three seasons and has scored 11 goals in 86 games.
