The Belgian winger has been on the sidelines due to a nasty ankle injury which required surgery in the summer. However, he recently made his first return to starting action in Chelsea's painful defeat to Manchester City.
He then went on to feature for Belgium in the World Cup qualifiers, the very same week he was included in the 30-man shortlist of candidates to clinch this year's Ballon d'Or.
He is now ready to seal his comeback in the Premier League but has insisted Chelsea fans should not expect much from his performances. 'I don't know, I will see at the end of the season. I missed football for three months [and] it's not easy to come back after a big injury but I did', he told the Evening Standard.
Hazard reduced expectations by speaking openly about the level that can expected from upon his return to the fold. 'I worked out during the summer. I just want to play football. I will miss some games, I will play bad for some games', he concluded. 'I just want to play football and try to bring the best of me'.
