Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard believes his disappointing domestic season will be forgotten if he impresses for Belgium at Euro 2016.
After being crowned the PFA Player of the Year last season, the 25-year-old has been a shadow of his former self, scoring just two Premier League goals and grabbing only three assists this season.
However the player believes if he performs well for Belgium this summer, who are one of the favourites to be crowned champions, he can eradicate his disappointing campaign.
"I hope to return to top form," Hazard told Canal+ .
"I know that if I have a good Euros, my bad season will be forgotten."
The Belgian has struggled with various injuries this season, and has revealed he still isn't at full fitness.
"I am at 80-85 per cent of my abilities," Hazard said. "Physical fitness comes with games."
Hazard and Belgium have been drawn in Group E at Euro 2016, taking on Italy, the Republic of Ireland and Sweden.
