Ahead of his side's clash with Tottenham on Sunday, Antonio Conte told his players there can be no excuses.
'We are ready to fight with all our strength to face this difficult situation', Conte began. The London derby is a must-win for Chelsea after their opening day defeat to Burnley.
And the Italian manager demands his players solve their problems with hard work: 'Don't find excuses, don't find an alibi. We must work, work and work. I like a lot this verb and I use it a lot. Last season through the work we won'.
Wembley hosted the two sides back in April as Chelsea cruised to victory in the FA Cup semi-final, but that Blues' squad seems entirely different to the current one.
When asked if he thought it was a good chance to face Spurs again, Conte unconfidently replied: 'I don't think it's a good time to play against them'.
