Xavi's contract is almost ready: he will earn much less than in Qatar

Xavi Hernandez is, every day, a step closer to becoming the new Barcelona coach. The legendary former player still has a contract at Al Sadd and his club are still completing talks over him coming to Spain. 'Mundo Deportivo' says that Xavi will get much less at Barca than in Qatar. The coach already knows this and accepts it.

There are other areas which lawyers are studying ahead of Xavi's return to the club. This time it will be as a coach though. The majority of his salary will be bonuses based on achievements. 

Money has not been a problem for Xavi, who is aware of the financial difficulties at the La Liga side. That is the reason why Xavi will not be reunited with Leo Messi at the club.

So when will Xavi's signing be made official? The deal could be announced in the coming days. It came to light that Al Sadd did not want to let him go until 3rd November. We are close to reaching this date so the former Barca player's return should be getting ever closer.
