Worral, McKenna set to leave Forest in January

Defenders Joe Worral, who is under contract until June 2026, and Scott McKenna, who is tied to Nottingham until June 2024, could both pack their bags in the January transfer window. According to the 'Daily Mail', both players have been excluded from the first team by the board.

The same media outlet reports that the English club have reportedly asked both players to train completely separately from the rest of the squad. They do so on different pitches and even at different times.

Forest have not explained the reason for this decision, but 'Daily Mail' explains that it was not a punishment for misconduct, as is usual in these cases. Neither of the two have reportedly had any dispute with any other player or member of staff.

The fact that they are sidelined would indicate Nottingham Forest's desire to get rid of both Worrall, who has played just six games this season, and McKenna, who has played just five games. They could be living out their final weeks at the City Ground.
