Wijnaldum to leave PSG at end of season

The arrival of Georginio Wijnaldum at Paris Saint-Germain was seen as a breath of fresh air for a midfield commanded, almost exclusively, by Marco Verratti and Leandro Paredes.
The Dutchman arrived, moreover, after being very close to Barcelona. All this meant that the Parc des Princes saw the signing as a masterstroke. All of this has fallen apart as soon as the ball has started to roll.
As 'L'Equipe' pointed out, neither the player nor the institution feel comfortable with his current situation. That is why both parties would welcome a change of scenery, despite the fact that there is a binding contract until 2024.
According to the aforementioned media, Wijnaldum would be willing to return to the Premier League, where he maintains a good reputation. In fact, Aston Villa and Newcastle have already shown some interest in his situation, although other options cannot be ruled out... such as his arrival in Spain.
