"We will not go to talk to referees again" - Furious Guardiola complains about Arsenal equaliser

The head-to-head between Manchester City and Arsenal has become one of the most exciting games in the Premier League in recent seasons, and the last one that ended in a draw between the Gunners and the Cityzens lived up to expectations, at least in terms of controversy. 

From the red card to Trossard or the time wasting by Arteta's team, to the visitors' equaliser. Michael Oliver pulled Kyle Walker out of position before an Arsenal free-kick to speak to him and restarted play before the England full-back had time to return, ending in Calafiori's equaliser. 

A furious Guardiola complained to the referee and even kicked a bench seat as a gesture of disapproval at what the referee had just done. After the match, the Spanish coach expressed his dissatisfaction with the play and Michael Oliver's decision. 

"Next time, we’ll not go to talk to the referee. Kyle Walker was just right. The referee asked him to come to talk to him and the other ones, and when that happens some players have to be close to the ball, and we have to readjust the back-four, but they didn't have time. Kyle arrived in the position, and after Calafiori made a good goal," he told reporters. 

"But we knew that always every free-kick that they contact quick with the wingers and they are really good with Saka and Martinelli, and I don't like the back-four when it's a foul and they move on. When the referee says: Come to talk to me… at least leave him to come back to the position. Because next time, we will not go to talk to them," concluded the former Barcelona coach.
