"We're not machines, it's not normal" - Angry Kounde hits out at packed schedule

Jules Kounde was happy about his team's 3-0 win over Osasuna, but also “angry about the date on which this match was played” postponed by La Liga and which, in his opinion, should not have been played immediately after the last international break.
“It is not something normal. It is disrespectful to our club to put a match on this date and disrespectful to Osasuna, who also have internationals like Budimir, who has not had the necessary rest. It doesn't matter if it's Barcelona, Osasuna or Madrid. But, above all, it is a lack of respect for the players,” lamented the French defender on DAZN microphones.
“We players are not machines and, in order to give the football fans what they want and for there to be intensity in the game, we also need rest,” he said.
For this reason, Koundr sent a strong message to football bodies: “Not only La Liga, all the institutions have to understand that they cannot set the dates they want... you understood me, right?” without taking into account “the main actors”, which are the football players.
“There comes a time when they should listen to our voice. They can't do whatever they want,” said the defender.
