'We must eliminate them from football' - Mayoral on death chants towards Ceballos

Getafe striker Borja Mayoral lamented the 0-1 defeat against Real Madrid in a match in which, in his opinion, they deserved “something more”, as they had “good chances” in the second half to score a goal. "In the last minutes, Madrid dominates you, but, in the second half, we took a step forward. It's a bitter taste in the mouth because we deserved more. In other matches, we don't have good chances. In the second half, we took a step forward and deserved something more," he said, on ‘DAZN’, after the match.
“We're disappointed to lose. It's never good, but we have 39 points, we're in mid-table and we're missing a few more points to achieve the first objective. The team took a step forward today and that's what's important," he said. Mayoral was happy to be a starter for the first time since March 2nd.
"I feel very good. I played 82 minutes and I felt very good. The injury is more than forgotten and I'm happy to play as a starter again after a long time," he commented.
In addition, he condemned the chants of “Ceballos, die” that part of the Getafe fans made in the 78th minute of the match, when the Real Madrid player came on the pitch. "Those chants are not a pleasure for anyone. We must eliminate them from football and sport. Hopefully it will never happen again," he said.
