Arsenal officially confirmed that they finalized an agreement with Manchester City for Gabriel Jesus' transfer on Monday.
The 'gunners' paid 45 million pounds to sign the player, who signed a contract with the London club until 2027. The Brazilian will start a new chapter in his career under the tutelage of Spanish manager, Mikel Arteta, who he has said he has a very good relationship with due to their time together at Manchester City. Jesus is expected to be Arsenal's starting striker and will be a key man if they are to have success in the 22/23 season.
On their official website, Arsenal have confirmed that Gabriel Jesus will wear the number '9' shirt and will join up with the rest of the squad for preseason in the days to come.
