Nevertheless, City put themselves two up just three minutes into the second half through a beautiful solo goal from Foden. Cue Brighton's memorable comeback. Trossard got it underway on 50 minutes with a great finish, before Webster sent Brighton fans crazy with his headed equaliser after 72 minutes. They were sent into ecstasy when big Dan Burn scored his first of the season to make it 3-2 just five minutes later.
Brighton held on to all three points, taking them all the way up to 15th in the table and reaching a total of 41 points. City obviously stay first, just the twelve points ahead of United.
