Louis Van Gaal is in contention to succeed the sacked Marc Wilmots as the Belgium national team head coach, according to The Sun.
Wilmots was sacked after Belgium crashed out of Euro 2016 at the hands of Wales in the semi-finals, with the 'Golden Generation' failing to live up to expectations.
And Van Gaal, who has also been sacked in recent months after failing to qualify to next seasons Champions League with Manchester United, has emerged as one of the early candidates to succeed the Belgian coach.
