Van Dijk aiming to see off the season with European glory

Van Dijk only signed for Liverpool in January, but he already feels like an integral member of the team, and has been key in the side's successes this season. The Reds have secured a top-four spot for the second year on the trot, and have suprised everyone by making it to the Champions League final.
The Dutchman is happy with his side's performance, but he wants them to go all the way. “It has been a great season for Liverpool," he said, speaking to Liverpool's official website. "Hopefully we can finish it off in Kiev.”
Jurgen Klopp's side now have just under two weeks to prepare for the final against Real Madrid on May 26, and Van Dijk says that he and his teammates are going to make good use of this time.
“We’re going to prepare very well," he said. "It’s going to be a tough game – we know they have so much quality. But we don’t need to forget that we have so much quality as well."
“We need to be going to Kiev with a lot of confidence. We’re not there for no reason. We deserve to be there, so we need to show that, be brave and do our thing. Then we’ll see what’s going to happen.”
