Valencia consider Rodrigo Riquelme as Soler replacement

Valencia are preparing to deal with the departure of one of their most important and best players. This is Carlos Soler, who has offers from Atletico Madrid and Barcelona and everything seems to indicate that he will say goodbye to Mestalla.

However, Gennaro Gattuso is already thinking of a player from the Atletico youth academy as his replacement. According to Matteo Moretto, the Valencian club have targeted Rodrigo Riquelme, a 22-year-old player who has excelled during the season.

The player from Madrid was on loan at Mirandes and completed a spectacular season. His eight goals scored and 12 assists provided in the 39 games he played are good proof of that. That is why Valencia see him as a good option to reinforce the departure of the Spanish international.
