Usain Bolt ignoring critics after debut

Bolt tired quickly in the game, later admitting he needs to work on his endurance, and he is aware that he could come in for some criticism. As a keen cricket fan he will be more than familiar with the Australian art of sledging, but it is not something that worries him. 

“Home games I don’t have to worry about that, I think maybe away games will be a little bit different,” he said.

“But for me I’m used to stuff like that, also from competitors and the media.

“We don’t have the contact [in football], so I don’t think it’s hard on my body, so I’m good for five years,” he added.

“I’m in good shape and feeling young.”
