Trossard hails Man City's Doku, talks about his lack of playing time at Arsenal

Leandro Trossard joined Arsenal in the January transfer window from Brighton & Hove Albion to bolster the Gunners' attack. The 28-year-old found it easy to secure a place in Mikel Arteta's starting XI but has struggled to play a key role this season.
The striker has made three appearances in the 2023/24 season, scoring a crucial goal for Arsenal in the Community Shield final against Manchester City. In the other two Premier League matches he has only played once as a starter - against Fulham.
As a result, he was asked in an interview with 'HLN' about his playing time with the Emirates Stadium outfit. "I don't know how the national coach feels about that. I am still convinced that I will play enough matches. I will be ready for the European Championship," he said.
As Trossard is currently on international duty with the Belgian national team, he also spoke about his compatriot Jeremy Doku, who signed for Manchester City in the summer transfer window, and his new teammates in the national team.
"A lot of young guys have come along who want to show themselves. That's good too. There are many good players, such as [Johan] Bakayoko and Doku. But I see that every week at Arsenal - that's nothing new."
