The goal came about after Eriksen whipped in a free kick from the left hand side of the pitch that found it's way into the corner of the net.
Kane had made a run at the ball but replays were inconclusive as to whether or not he got a touch on it. The striker seemed confident though as he wheeled away celebrating.
Eriksen spoke to the 'BBC' after the match, and said that he wanted the goal, but that if Kane had got a touch on the ball then he believes him: "He celebrated like it was his goal so I will have to take his word for it."
Kane then tweeted into 'Match of the Day', saying that he was sure the pundits on the show would be able to clear it up. He said post match: "It was my goal, it flicked off my shoulder and went in."
Alan Shearer quickly responded saying that if he were in the same position he would definitely claim the goal.
It would be an important goal for Kane, who trails Mo Salah in the race for the Premier League golden boot, and this is the reason why Tottenham have taken the previously-unheard-of step of writing to the FA to change a goalscorer.
