"Things with Lewandowski will calm down"

There is more and more fall talk on Robert Lewandowski's future due to pressure from within football. Numerous clubs are interested in him and what to take advantage of the fact he wants to leave Germany.
Barcelona are the strongest candidates although they are unable to reach an agreement with a Bayern Munich who will do whatever they can to keep the striker. Sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic spoke to 'Bild' about the situation.
"Lewandowski has a contract until 2023 and we're very happy he's here. I think now things will calm down. We know what we have with him and he knows what he has here. We're talking about his public comments and for us all to calm down," he said.
Salihamidzic is also confident Lewandowski will change his mind and at least see out the year he has left on his contract. In any case, Bayern are looking for reinforcements in attack.
"In general terms, we're trying to strengthen our team. We're working on several options in attack. The transfer market isn't easy, it always depends on the financial possibilities of the club. I don't want to talk about players from other clubs. Of course we cannot just have faith in one option to bolster our attack," he explained.
Barcelona and Lewandowski want to be together, although PSG and Man Utd have now entered into the race, but everything seems to suggest that the transfer saga will run on for a long time this summer.
