"There's nobody ahead of me in football terms. Not Guardiola, not Klopp, not Arteta" - Allardyce

Leeds United's new manager Sam Allardyce denied he is "old-fashioned" and claimed there's nobody ahead of him in football terms in the Premier League, naming Pep Guardiola, Jurgen Klopp and Mikel Arteta.
The Briton was announced on Wednesday as the LilyWhites' new manager for the final four games of the season, with the aim of avoiding relegation to the Championship (English Second Division).
"People think I'm old and old-fashioned, but nothing could be further from the truth. There's nobody ahead of me in football terms. Not Pep Guardiola, not Jurgen Klopp, not Arteta. They do what they do, I do what I do. But in terms of depth of knowledge, I am up there with them. I am not saying I am better than them, but I am as good as them
This will be Allardyce's 18th season in the Premier league; a time in which he has managed Everton, West Bromwich Albion, Bolton Wanderers, Sunderland and Coventry City.
He has coached almost 600 games in his career and has a winning record of just over 33%. His only relegation was with West Bromwich Albion in 2021.
