The reason why Ronaldo moved to Juve

According to the aforementioned source, a report from Estban Urreiztieta and Orfeo Suarez have shed some light on the motivations behind the Portuguese's move from Madrid to Turin. 

It would appear, following the fallout from all of his financial troubles the previous year, Ronaldo called a meeting with his agent Jorge Mendes and made it clear he was not happy with anything that had happened. 

The Spanish press have also reported exactly what Ronaldo said in this meeting, according to lawyer Carlos Osorio: "I said that I didn't want risks. I don't have an education. The only thing I have done in my life is play football, but I am not mad and I don't trust anyone. For this when I appoint a consultant I always pay them 30% more than they ask because I don't want problems."

Furthermore, they went on to reveal what Ronaldo said when it was revealed that he would have to cut a deal with the courts: "I never said I wouldn't pay the taxes! I want to know what has happened. I don't understand anything, the sponsors pay the taxes. Why are they accusing me?"

As a result, 'El Mundo' went on to say that Ronaldo felt as if he had been betrayed by Real Madrid. They would not give him a new contract, despite the fines being doled out.
