The business that Ramos and Pique are working on

The relationship between the Barcelona and Real Madrid defenders made the headlines once again recently, as it was reported that Pique's comments about Catalan independence caused an irreperable rift in their relationship.
However, Pique was keen to put those rumours to bed, insisting that the Spanish team-mates have an excellent relationship.
He said in a press conference on Wednesday: "A lot of lies and cliches have been said about me and Ramos, we get on phenomenally well, we are very close. I've repeated it 20 times, we're even going to be partners in a business."
This "business" which Pique referred to is 'Power to the Players', a media platform where sports stars can express their own opinions, according to Spanish publication 'Marca'.
Pique has insisted on the need to create a means of communication where sports stars can express themelves freely without going through any journalistic filters.
The idea is based on 'The Players' Tribune', a media platform which has gained a lot of attention in the United States with written content provided by huge sporting stars. Cristiano Ronaldo, Ronaldinho and Marcelo have all participated in the project.
Bastketball star Kobe Bryant even announced his retirement through the platform. Pique and Ramos want to create something similar with 'Power to the Players' for Spain and Europe.
