The European league seasons have either all finished or coming to a close, so the list of the teams qualified for the Champions League is now longer.
In total, 22 of the 26 teams which qualify automatically for the group stage are now known, but there will be another six who will have to earn their place after going through various qualifiers.
So the teams which have assured their place are: FC Barcelona, Atlético de Madrid, Real Madrid, Valencia CF, Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham, Juventus, Nápoles, Bayern Múnich, Borussia Dortmund, Leipzig, Bayer Leverkusen, Paris Saint-Germain, LOSC Lille, Benfica, Zenit, Genk, Salzburgo, Galatasaray and Shakhtar Donetsk.
The four remaining berths are for: Two Serie A clubs, another Russian team and the Europa League winner. If Chelsea win the Europa League, then Lyon will be the beneficiaries.
