Jules Kounde's future seems to be more out of Sevilla than in. Just a few hours ago, the club announced its list of called-up players for the third matchday of LaLiga against Elche and the French centre-back is not on it.
Kounde's future is still up in the air and he is more likely to play this season in London than in the Andalusian capital. In fact, in the last few hours, Fabrizio Romano, an expert in the transfer market, published on his Twitter account a breaking news about the Sevilla player.
Apparently, after Jose Castro, president of Sevilla, rushed Chelsea for the transfer of their player, the English have reacted and would be willing to offer the initial 50 million euros that Sevilla were asking for Kounde.
But, now, that figure could be insufficient for Sevilla, who want more for their centre-back. According to the aforementioned source, the situation between the two clubs is tense, but negotiations continue through intermediaries, as Chelsea want to find a solution to secure the signing of the highly-rated defender before the market comes to an end. In fact, Koundé himself is reportedly putting pressure on the Blues to move quickly.
