Tchouameni complains about match schedule: "There are more and more fixtures"

Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni spoke to the press after France's qualifier against the Netherlands at Johan Cruijff Arena and criticised the match schedule.
"We play too many games. It's not common to have only one game a week. That's why we get so many injuries. We need the authorities to put an end to this dynamic. The situation is not going to improve with new competitions. We have to do something to stop it," he said.
"They don't ask our opinion. We have more and more games. I was one of the players who played more games in Europe while I was injured. We all have to contribute to make ourselves heard," he added.
Tchouameni also spoke about his new role at Real Madrid as a centre-back: "I performed quite well, but I'm enjoying myself more in midfield. But the team will probably need me in defence."
