Between La Liga, Copa del Rey and Champions League action, Barcelona have seen themselves play almost every three days throughout the past couple of months.
Barca coach Hansi Flick said the scheduling was a "joke" in a frustrated rant during a press conference last week, as he insisted that his players do not have enough time to rest in between matches.
The Catalans followed up with an open letter towards La Liga ahead of Saturday's 4-3 win over Celta Vigo, detailing their belief that they were being treated unfairly in terms of fixture timings.
La Liga chief Javier Tebas responded to the club's complaints, shutting down accusations that Barcelona were being targeted with unjust treatment, as he called for UEFA to also be held accountable.
"We are managing La Liga, not the interests of one or two clubs," he said. "Why are domestic leagues always blamed? Why does no one take it up with UEFA? People should complain to them."
Barca's La Liga game at Real Valladolid has been moved from May 3 to May 4, meaning they will have less than three days to prepare for the pivotal second leg of their Champions League semi-final tie against Inter on May 6.
