Stoke v Everton - preview and possible lineups

Stoke: Mame Biram Diouf will undergo a late fitness test while Saido Berahino could be in contention for a start, but Lee Grant and Stephen Ireland remain sidelined. 

Everton: Gylfi Sugurdsson faces a lengthy spell out with a knee injury and Ashley Williams is still suspended, but Theo Walcott should recover from the cramp that forced him off early last week. 

Paul Lambert: "“Our destiny is well and truly in our own hands, and if we can win on Saturday and get out of the bottom three then psychologically that would be huge for us. Confidence is good, we are in decent form and the lads are all really positive - I never allow negativity to creep into my teams. We are only three or four points off mid-table so we are really well in this, and we will be in an even better position if we can take the points on Saturday."

Sam Allardyce: "We’ve been doing a bit more work into the mind in the analysis room about who we are, what we want to get and want we want to achieve. That is the main aim, in terms of visualising your performance. If a player spends a bit of time thinking about his best performance - and putting himself in the right frame of mind - then he’ll have a better chance of delivering that performance."
