Shilton delights in Argentina loss on the anniversary of the 'Hand of God'

The defeat leaves Argentina's qualification out of their hands and with the country in crisis, not that Shilton was too fussed.
The former Stoke City stopper was in goal on that fateful day back in June 1986 when Diego Maradona punched the ball beyond him and into the back of the net and it seems that he still holds a grudge to this day.
In the wake of Argentina's loss, Shilton took to Twitter to share a photo of a very glum looking Maradona, along with the message: "God was looking down on me this morning! Having watched the worst football Argentina has played in a World Cup on the eve before the anniversary of the hand of god incident."

Argentina must now beat Nigeria in their final group game on Tuesday and hope that Iceland fail to pick up four points from their remaining two games.
