Setien would have preferred league to resume a week later

The referees and the majority of the players are happy with football returning in Spain, but there are a minority who would have liked more time. This is what Quique Setien thinks.
"The team are quite good given the week we've done, but we would have needed another week to be properly ready," the Barca boss said.
Setien spoke about how he sees his squad. "All the players are very keen and motivated to play. I see them with an extra bit of motivation, I guess it'll be the same at all clubs," the coach told Barcelona.
"Now they are different to how they were during lockdown. They are no longer stressed and they are tremendously motivated and keen to play. In this sense, it has been good for us becuase footballers get tired as time goes by and these two months have been different," he admitted.
One of the players talked about specifically was Suarez as he is returning from injury. "He has had this extra time to recover and be ready to play again. He's practically fully fit. We'll see when the league starts how he is, but in two or three matches he will probably be 100%," the coach continued..
Setien admitted it will be disappointing playing without fans: "We'll miss the support, it makes a big difference. It's a special situation which we are trying to overcome, but that will also happen to the opponents when we play away from home."
There are 11 matches left and Barca have a two point lead over Real Madrid. "We are thinking we have to win every game if we want to be champions," Quique Setien admitted.
"The normal thing to do in pre-season is to play matches and spread game time around, now it will be different. We'll see how the games go and each player's situation since everyone is different. We are good mentally and we'll see how the matches are developing and how the opponents make it difficult for us," he concluded.
