The president of the RFEF, Luis Rubiales, reiterated on Wednesday that the deal between the investment fund CVC and LaLiga "is illegal" and financially "calamitous" and recalled that the organisation he presides over filed a complaint along with three other Spanish clubs.
"It is illegal because we believe that giving a little while charging a lot is a barbarity that decapitalises the clubs, that it is an injection but a blood extraction because it will bleed the clubs dry," Rubiales told the media on Wednesday in Valencia.
"It is a calamitous financial operation. It would have been easier to ask for a credit between all of us and it would be much simpler to understand that if they give you 100 million, you pay back 120 or 140. The accounts don't add up, there is a beneficiary here, which is the fund, and some other beneficiaries, but, of course, those are not the clubs," Rubiales stressed.
The RFEF president explained that the report made by the State Attorney's Office was "without information" and that, for this reason, he hopes that, "now yes", La Liga will provide "all the information".
"To show that it is illegal, that it empties La Liga of powers in favour of a body where there is an investment fund that is going to get even richer at the cost of the clubs giving up a lot of television revenue for 50 years," he said.
