"Ronaldo? We can't cry about a player who no longer wanted to stay"

Isco, who returned for 'Los Blancos' against Levante at the weekend, spoke about his recovery from an abdomen issue, saying: " I came out of the operation well, but there were both external and internal factors that I had to recover from. I am very happy to be back, I returned sooner than expected and I am focussed on trying to help the team as well as return to peak fitness."
"It is true that it is hard to accept this amount of defeats, but at the end of the day, I have spent six seasons here and we have had some very bad times, but have always been able to recover. There have been moments where we have had to face many critics, and then we improved and the critics had to come back with their tails between their legs.
He continued: "We have won four Champions Leagues in five years. For many people, it is great to see Madrid in such a bad position, but we will never be finished, we won't give in."
"We are in a very calm space and know the responsibility we hold. We take the field and give everything. When we don't achieve the desired result we return home angry. This is not just down to the manager. We have total confidence in ourselves, and we will reverse this", said Isco.
"We are worried because we are not getting results. Are there games that we did not deserve to win? Yes, but also we should not have lost", said the Madrid midfielder.

Isco also fronted up talk of the bad performances of the team, saying: "I do not believe in chance and as I have said several times, I have confidence in this team. We are winners, and I do not doubt a single one of us."
The player was visibly irritated when journalists questioned his faith in manager Lopetegui, who is under pressure due to current results.
Sitting beside his manager, Isco was full of praise, saying: "It's true that he gave me the confidence with Spain and I think that I gave it back to him, we all trust him and the entire squad have a responsibility to turn things around."

"It has been widely spoken this season that we miss Bale when he is out or that Carvajal is injured. We cannot look any further than the players that are available. We cannot be crying about players that did not want to stay either", the attacker said in relation to the departed Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Malaga native trusts that the team has what it takes to turn their look around. "There has not been a conspiracy, we are aware of what we have to do and I am confident that we will do well", he asserted.
Isco also slammed the media for trying to create a circus around manager Lopetegu; who he assures has the full confidence of the Madrid squad, in the wake of pressure to sack the former national team boss.
Real have the perfect chance to ease pressure on their boss, when they host Viktoria Plzen in the Santiago Bernabéu on Tuesday evening.
