West Ham player Declan Rice has been on everyone's lips for some time every time the transfer window is close to opening. On this occasion, the footballer himself was the one who started the rumours.
The English player spoke to the media before one of England's matches at the World Cup in Qatar. The midfielder showed his desire to play in the Champions League and his contract only runs until summer 2024.
"I see my friends here that are playing the Champions League and fighting for great trophies. You only have one career and in the end, you want to look back, at what you've won and at the most important matches you've played in," he admitted.
"I've been played regularly for my club, but I feel that I really want to keep on growing," Rice said in a press conference. These comments suggested that he was open to leaving West Ham.
