"Replacing Xavi? These are scenarios I'm not thinking about, I'm focused on winning titles"

Barcelona women's coach Jonatan Giraldez said ahead of next Wednesday's Benfica-Barça game (21:00) that the team is in a form he feels "very proud" of, given that "whoever plays, the version is very good".
"It will be a competitive match", said the coach, adding that, despite not playing for anything "in terms of classification", they do so "in terms of feelings".
Jonatan Giraldez, whose contract expires on 30th June and who will not remain on the Barcelona bench, was asked about his counterpart in the men's first team, Xavi Hernandez, and his decision to leave the club at the end of the season.
"These are personal issues and they have to be respected. If it is his decision, I give him unconditional support. If he has the possibility to decide on his future, it is convenient that he does so. It has happened to me", concluded the Vigo coach.
Asked whether he would take the reins of the men's team, he replied: "These are scenarios that I'm not considering, I'm sticking to the decision I made a couple of months ago. I'll just focus on the part I have to play, trying to win as many titles as possible".
