Real Madrid without non-EU players

Last season, Real Madrid had to do all sorts to make sure they kept to their non-EU cap of three. Fortunately, they no longer have that problem. Vinicius got Spanish nationality and now two more teammates have done the same. 

According to 'Marca', Rodrygo and Militao received the relevant documentation to obtain Spanish nationality. Therefore, neither will occupy a non-EU spot. 

In addition, Real Madrid could sign some non-EU footballers in the January transfer window and they have all three slots available. 

Rodrygo and Militao are very happy to get citizenship as they are happy in Madrid and they feel very settled at the club.
