Real Madrid's players market value and reputation damaged

The loss in value of the Real Madrid squad is obvious. Gareth Bale, for example, has gone from being kept on by the club after his overhead kick in the Champions League final to consider being let go for nothing. All that in just 12 months. 

Real Madrid's terrible season has considerably reduced the market value of their footballers who were being sought after by everyone the previous summer. 

It is not only Gareth Bale who is suffering. Luka Modric and Marcelo received interest from Serie A last season. However, not even the new legislation with its tax benefits have caused Inter and Juventus to show interest once again in the Croatian and the Brazilian. 

'AS', also highlighted the situation regarding Toni Kroos and Isco amongst others. Manchester United are willing to offer close to 80 million euros for the German; while Pep Guardiola was raving about the Spaniard. 

While Zinedine Zidane is pushing to sign Paul Pogba, Real Madrid are encountering great difficulty to sell their footballers at a good price when they were getting tons of offers not long ago.
