Real Madrid and Barcelona in race for Pavard

A few days ago, it was revealed that Benjamin Pavard has got in touch with Barcelona about his future. The Bayern Munich player could be heading there in the near future.

What is more, according to 'Sky Germany', Real Madrid have entered into the fray for the French international. Additionally, the German club think the best option is to let the right-back leave in the transfer window and try and get a fair price for all parties for him.

The same source added that Pavard is speaking to both clubs, who are competing to strengthen their sides for free.

Bayern are hoping that they will receive some concrete offers, as up until now, no formal bids have been made.
