Raúl Jiménez renews with Wolves until 2024

Wolverhampton Wanderers will continue to celebrate the goals of Raúl Jiménez. The club and the player have reached an agreement to prolong his contract until the end of the 2023-24 season.

Raúl Jiménez signed for the club in 2018 and since then hasn't stopped giving joy. He has 46 goals in 103 matches for the side.

"I am delighted to be here in this great club. Since I was a child I just wanted to play, enjoy and live, and that's why I'm here. They give me all the confidence and opportunity to be important up top, which is what I was looking for when I arrived in Europe", the striker told the club.

Raúl Jiménez acknowledged that the last two seasons have had "very good performances". "I think Wolves are getting the best out of me and I am giving them my best football, but they are also giving me the best", he added.

Raúl Jiménez will wear the number 9 again. "I find it very comfortable because it is a number that has always been of strikers, and since I was a child I liked the nine", the Mexican striker indicated.
