PSG want Mbappe to stay: they will offer him same salary as Neymar!

PSG have already made some stellar reinforcements for the 2021/22 campaign, bringing in Hakimi, Ramos and Donnarumma in a transfer window that is still young. Undoubtedly three huge signings for a season that promises to be something special.
However, the main worry at the Parc des Princes continues to be the future of Kylian Mbappe. His contract terminates in 2022, however those at the club believe he will extend his stay in the French capital.
Despite the fact that Mbappe appears to have his mind set on a move away from Paris, PSG themselves believe they've found the perfect formula for him to continue. Both the sporting directive and president Al-Khelaifi are currently working on a solution.
'AS' reports that PSG have, unsurprisingly, got their chequebooks out to solve the problem. The president is willing to pay Mbappe the same salary that Neymar is on currently, which would make him the joint-highest earner on the team.
However, the Spanish daily indicates that even this improved salary offer will not be enough to change Mbappe's mind. The Frenchman has reportedly already made it clear to manager Pochettino, sporting director Leonardo, and president Al-Khelaifi that he has made his decision and that he won't think about renewing. PSG, however, aren't looking to throw in the towel just yet.
