Prosecutors investigate Inter ultra for stabbing another to death

The Italian Andrea Beretta, head of the Inter ultras, murdered Andrea Bellocco, another of the most recognised figures of the radical group ‘Nerazzurro’ and linked to the ‘Ndrangheta’, the Italian mafia, on Wednesday in Milan (north). He stabbed him inside a vehicle after being shot in the leg.
The crime took place on the outskirts of the city of Milan, in Cernusco sul Navliglio, near the Testudo gymnasium, which is frequented by football radicals in the area, and according to the first reconstructions, reported by the local media, both were in the same Smart car.
Bellocco allegedly shot Beretta in the leg and the latter reacted by stabbing him several times in the throat, which caused his death. There were no other people involved.
The fight between the two, which was fatal for Bellocco, could be linked to a much deeper plot of illegal business that the Milan prosecutor's office is investigating.
Beretta, 49, Inter's historic ultra leader, was arrested by the authorities and taken to hospital for surgery on the area affected by the shot he received at point-blank range.
Belloco, the fatal victim, as well as frequenting the San Siro stands, was linked to the Calabrian mafia, known as ‘Ndrangheta, one of the most powerful and violent criminal organisations on the planet.
