After crashing out of the Champions League to Roma on Tuesday, Barcelona come tumbling back down to earth with a league clash against Valencia on Saturday. The league leaders, who currently sit on 79 points, host Valencia, who are third in the table on 65 points.
With the La Liga title already pretty much wrapped up, Ernesto Valverde's side will look to secure it as early as possible, and will be hoping to bounce back from their European humiliation.
They will face a Valencia side who have grown as the season has progressed, and who are putting the pressure on the second place spot currently held by Atletico Madrid, who are only three points above them.
According to 'Sport', Valverde will opt for a 4-3-3 on Saturday, with Ousman Dembele, Leo Messi and Luis Suarez leading the line.
In the second line, Paulinho, Sergio Busquets, who recently returned from injury, and Philippe Coutinho will be the men handed a starting berth. The Catalan side will be without Rakitic, who recently underwent surgery on a broken finger.
Behind them, Sergi Roberto, Gerard Pique, Samuel Umtiti and Jordi Alba will protect Marc Andre Ter Stegen's net.
Valencia boss Marcelino Gorria Toral, meanwhile, is expected to deploy a more defensive 4-4-2, a strategy intended to contain the offensive threat provided by Barca.
Up top, Rodrigo and Simone Zaza will try and break down Barcelona's defence, while Carlos Soler, Geoffrey Kondogbia, Dani Parejo and Goncalo Guedes will attempt to control the centre of the park.
In defence, Nacho Vidal and Martin Montoya will be dropped, in favour of Ruben Vezo, Gabriel Paulista, Ezequiel Garay and Jose Gaya. Behind the back four, Neto will have the undesirable task of keeping Messi and Suarez from scoring.
Predicted lineups:
Barcelona: Ter Stegen; Sergi Roberto, Piqué, Umtiti, Jordi Alba; Paulinho, Busquets, Coutinho; Dembélé, Leo Messi, Luis Suárez.
Valencia: Neto; Rubén Vezo, Gabriel Paulista, Garay, Gayá; Carlos Soler, Kondogbia, Parejo, Gonçalo Guedes; Rodrigo, Zaza.
