The 25 year-old's form and happiness has sky-rocketed since the arrival of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and he now wants an increase on his current £290,000-a-week-deal. It is thought he wants a deal that will take him closer to the £500,000 a week earned by Alexis Sanchez. This comes only months after Pogba, who still has two and a half years remaining on his current contract, tried to force through a move to Barcelona. Although this didn't materialise, a series of disagreements with former manager Jose Mourinho made a move this summer increasingly probable - until Solskajer arrived.
A source told 'The Sun': "Pogba's agent is ready to end the problems he has had with the club over the last few months. He wasn't over much towards the end of last year. There was a big breakdown of relationships while Mourinho was in charge." Pogba has been instrumental in United's recent upturn in fortunes, scoring and assisting freely as the Red Devils have strung together seven successive victories.
