Mbappe was the name on everybody's lips on Saturday, after his masterful striker's performance against Argentina. The French forward scored twice, as well as winning a penalty that led to the opening goal, in a 4-3 win that took 'Les Bleus' past Leo Messi and co. and into the next round of the World Cup.
The 19-year-old drew praise from all sides, with legend Didier Drogba saying that he is already the complete striker, and after the game fellow Frenchman Paul Pogba was asked for his thoughts on Mbappe.
Pogba himself has been seen as one of the best young talents about, having made the move from Manchester United to Juventus at the age of 19, but the midfielder says that Mbappe is already showing he has more ability than him.
"Kylian has much more talent than I have," Pogba stated, as reported by 'Goal'. The Manchester United man only made his international debut at the age of 20, and he pointed to Mbappe's success at such a tender age.
"Do you see what he is doing at his age? No, I never had his talent," he said. "He has so much speed... he's a forward, he can't be compared with me."
Pogba and the rest of his teammates will hope that Mbappe continues to shine in France's quarter-final tie. Didier Deschamps' side take on Uruguay in the next round of the World Cup.
