Barcelona were in control at 1-0 up until an incident in the 24th minute. Viktoria Plzen gave Xavi Hernandez's side a huge fright at the Camp Nou.
The Czechs won a ball in the air and the skilful Mosquera got the ball in the box. He was one on one and Christensen brought him down from behind. The referee gave a penalty and a red to Christensen.
However, the VAR review made it clear that the Plzen player fouled the former Chelsea man in the build up as he caught him in the face with his arm.
The referee rescinded the red card and the penalty and Mosquera was shown a yellow card.
Plzen did get their equaliser, but Barca struck twice more before half-time to go in 3-1 up at the interval.
