Pablo Torre joins Barca's injury list

Barcelona midfielder Pablo Torre will undergo surgery in the coming days after fracturing the fifth metacarpal bone in his left hand following a blow suffered during training on Tuesday.
According to the club, the Cantabrian player will undergo surgical treatment by Dr Xavi Mir and the club will issue a new medical statement at a later date.
Signed in the summer of 2022 from Racing Santander, Torre made 13 appearances for Barca's first team in the 2022-2023 season, scoring one goal and assisting one. The 21-year-old Cantabrian midfielder spent last season on loan at Girona, where he made 29 appearances, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
After finishing his loan spell at Girona, Pablo Torre whose contract with Barcelona runs until 2026, joined new coach Hansi Flick this week to start pre-season training.
